Since Stephen mentioned the Node 3 voting on his ‘Today Show’ appearance this morning, I thought I’d check in with NASA to see how the votes stand thus far. No Fact Zone got the scoop today from Jacob L. Keaton from NASA on the status of the voting. As of this morning (March 12), “Colbert” had 148,994 votes, and Serenity had 112,506. According to the Associated Press, Stephen Colbert is now officially leading the votes for the NASA Node 3 naming contest. Out over more than 451,000 votes, “Colbert” is just shy of 115,000 and Serenity is now trailing at 98,641.
