I’ve been holding onto my ‘Welcome Jesus’ T-shirt since this site started in July 2006, and now I finally get to wear it! We’re closing down shop in anticipation of the return of Christ – and we’ve scored an interview with Stephen Colbert for our final post here at No Fact Zone!
Thank God for Twitter! And the Internet in general. Without them, I wouldn’t have known that Stephen made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live last night. I haven’t watched SNL in close to two decades, and right now I’m sorry I didn’t stay up for it this weekend. The Ambiguously Gay Duo returned to the show in one of the most hilarious sketches I’ve ever seen. It’s a combination of the cartoon and live action, with appearances by host Ed Helms, Steve Carell, Jimmy Fallon (who I must say is remarkably… flexible) and Stephen Colbert. Enjoy!

You may recall Stephen putting Anderson Cooper on the Absurd-U-Chart back in April claiming that Anderson Coopers Ridiculist was a rip off of the far superior On Notice Board. Nothing better than a feud ’round here! And the “Silver Surfer” of journalism has taken the Colbert-bait, adding Stephen to his Ridiculist and claiming that Stephen has been copying him all these years!

Hey, Zoners, I hope I haven’t kept you waiting too long for a write-up of last night’s incredible show at Avery Fisher Hall. After a long day that ended with me getting home in the wee hours of the morning, I needed a full night’s sleep and a chance to think about last night to put it into the right perspective. The show was, in a word, amazing. Read on for the reasons why!
Oh man, we are getting so spoiled with the goodness coming out of the rehearsals for “Company” this week! The New York Times is featuring an article describing how the show is being put together, which as you can imagine is not at all easy when most of your stars already have day jobs. They’ve had to resort to some creative rehearsing options which I find fascinating. But the best part of the article is the part where they mention that the show will be recorded to be shown in movie theaters in June! Read on for more, and for another dose of eye candy!
