Colbert Nation sponsored US Speedskater wins World Cup event
By
Katherine Reutter of the USA, sporting a patch of The Colbert Nation skates in the Women's 1500m finals at the ISU World Cup short track speed skating event round on November 7, 2009 in Montreal, Canada.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this yet, but of all of the calls that Stephen has made to the Nation, the call to help sponsor the US Speedskating team has got to be one of my very favorite. It feels good to rally around the team, and to know that we’re supporting something that is really helping the lives of these young athletes.
That being said … USA! USA! USA! US Speedskater Katherine Reutter, sponsored by the Colbert Nation, won the Gold medal in the women’s 1,500 meters at a short-track speedskating World Cup event in Montreal with a time of 2:23.275. According to the US Speedskating official site, this is Reutter’s second Gold metal of the World Cup season.
