I love it when random Stephen Colbert footage from years ago pops up on “the internets”. Today’s installment comes from someone who was evidently with MediaBureau.com, talking to Stephen outside of the Republican National Convention in 2000.
Note: I would love a Mr. Noblet mug. Seriously.

My God. He looks like a child here. So young and innocent. Well young anyway.
This makes me want to go back and watch some of the old convention coverage.

I’m totally fangirling here….I need some help!
Noblet mug? I wonder if these exist somewhere? And my god, he looks so cute! I love it whenever he says “Swag” by the way. I remember that little video on youtube with Stephen, Paul, and Amy at a film festival for SWC and at one point he asked Amy about her swag…and “did you get some sneakers?”. Adorable with a capital A!

It is SO weird to see Stephen wear rimmed glasses. Not that I’m complaining :)
And I am totally on board with the idea of a Mr. Noblet mug! Actually, I’ll just settle for the coffee mugs Chuck and Jellineck used in the “Ask Jerri” SWC ep ha. Extra points for the person who remembers which ones I’m referring to! lol :)

They are in reference to if Noblet and Jellineck are in touch with the student body.. “You’re not” and if anything will reach them it will be Jellinecks advice…”It won’t”
