Fangirl Suit Report: Week of January 31, 2011

fangirl-suit-report-logo14-150x150Tonight! Furry hats and herd immunity; thunder snow apocalypse yet bullish on snowballs futures in hell, veggihard and buying rage in bulk; dazzling with bulls*&t, hiybbprqag (that’ll help the tongue) and that ain’t no pile of jack squat – that’s fair and balanced reporting.

Questions of the week: You say Anderson Cooper is a work of art but would he get $19.95 on ebay? and who wouldn’t be willing to stand in for Demi Moore?

And true, “in the real world there are different rules” but how wonderful it is that 40% of gamers are girls because Stephen knows after he has gamed for a bit, he has a thunder cannon with ‘femmmmale’ written all over it.

Let us rejoice in our God-King, Stephen Colbert and his Majestic Writers to celebrate their Writer’s Guild Award. Here you go, straight off the walls of The Ramses Report:

I loved Monday’s suit and tie combo – the grey suit seemed to make him look thinner. And he sure looked mighty fine on Thursday. Striped dress shirt + striped blue tie + French cuffs + handsome hair = a very happy me. XD

Gratefull, I just gott say, that picture you chose for Wednesday’s description….SWOON.

    Difference makers: Thumb up +5

  2. Jennie says:

You know, with a monocle and bowler hat, Superman looks even more like Stephen than usual.

    Difference makers: Thumb up +5

  3. Arkadina says:

I have to go with Tuesday’s outfit as that’s the taping I attended and so I have a soft spot for it, even though the Wednesday ensemble of dark suit and silver tie is my favourite – and I can’t believe I missed it by one day! Gah.

And I would willingly pay $19.95 – and more – for Anderson Cooper. Who cares if he’d be purely decorative. Where can I start bidding?

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +3

Oooh, lucky you! I trust you had a good time?

Oh, man, that first Wednesday screen cap…I LOVE that one. The look on his face is to die for there.

Also get a kick out of the fact that you managed to get some screen caps from the bit on O’Reilly, as well as him playing with the cat :D. So funny, those segments. And anything that shows him laughing is always adorable to see as well. Cute as cute can get there, really.

As always, lovely repor(t). Enough to tide me over until Monday (whee!).

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +2

  4. Karenatasha says:

Love Wednesday’s elegant outfit, plus the cat accessory. Wasn’t it WC Fields who said never to work with animals or children?

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +1

    • Arkadina says:

You should certainly never work with cats, I think, Karenatasha! They have a disdain for everything around them and a natural instinct to be as uncooperative as possible. Only a cat would not want to play with Stephen. To mine, he’d just be a scratching post in a Brooks Brothers suit…and that furry hat would have been lying in shreds all over the house by now.

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +1

  5. Karenatasha says:

Arkadina, I bet the cat worked well with Stephen backstage! But I can see that an audience, lights, and camera might have spooked the kitty. My two definitely wouldn’t have liked it–especially my “gravatar,” Rudi. He doesn’t like noise and commotion at all. But if you just walked in my apartment to play with him, he’d be very friendly.

The lynx did better than the housecat, ironically!

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +2

  6. Angela says:

My sister’s cat would’ve probably cooperated, she’s always up for being playful and messing around with kitty toys. Course, then she’d likely have gotten distracted two seconds in and run off somewhere else, but still…!

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +2

  7. LoriE says:

Love, love, LOOOOOOVE the FSR!! YOu are so amazing with your descriptives, Gratefull! And the hieroglyphs….brilliant! You never fail to amaze and entertain me.

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +1
