Stephen Colbert - hasidic jew youth

Great news for our Israeli readers (I’m loooking at you leora!) – MTV Networks International is launching an all-Hebrew 24-hour version of Comedy Central in Israel. According to WorldScreen.com:

MTV Networks International (MTVNI) has launched its 10th localized Comedy Central service outside of the U.S., with Israel’s HOT now carrying a Hebrew-language version of the 24-hour channel.

Comedy Central Israel is available to 1 million households. It offers such series as ‘South Park’, ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’ and ‘The Colbert Report’, as well as ‘Scrubs’, ‘That ’70s Show’ and late-night talk show ‘Conan’.

Does that mean Stephen Colbert will investigate if it is true that Jews control the wild kingdom? I want to know if I can trust my pets again… sometimes, I think my cat is watching me…

yay!! This rocks!! Now I won’t have to go into a long schpeal about who Colbert is to my friends- I can just say turn to channel x!!

I wasn’t sure from reading this whether CC is going to be subtitled or…[shudder]…DUBBED with a Hebrew-language voiceover! At least with there being “no greater friend of Israel than yours truly”, Stephen won’t be censored too much, like he is here [United Arab Emirates] if something is deemed inappropriate to Islamic sensibilities.

But now I’ve gone blank and can’t even think if TCR is shown with Arabic subtitles here [we don't get Comedy Central any more, but it's on OSN Comedy, a fact which forced me to buy a big ugly satellite dish!]

Shout Out (Hey!): Thumb up +1
