‘Colbert Report’ writing team nominated for WGA award for fourth straight year

Congrats to the writing staff of the ‘Colbert Report’, who have been nominated for the 4th straight year for a Writer’s Guild of America award for Comedy/Variety (including talk) Series. First nominated in 2007, the ‘Colbert Report’ writers won the award that first year out, but lost in 2008 to ‘Saturday Night Live’ and lost in 2009 to ‘Saturday Night Live’/'Daily Show’ (dual winners in 2009).
