A huge Thank You and Goodbye to Val, and a call for help on the Completist team

It is with a sad heart that I announce the departure of one of the No Fact Zone Completists, Val. She started working on this site with us almost two years ago. I put out a call, or more appropriately, I put out a please dear God begging plea, for some assistance with the site. We had a huge team of people who came on the team to play catch-up on Episode Guides and to develop new recurring posts for the site, and Val was one of this wave of new Completists. In late 2009, she took over the Fantasy Colbert League guest preview posts from Kinaesthesia, who had stepped down, and has done the FCL posts faithfully for over a year.

Val graduated from college this past Spring, and now is a first-year teacher in Philadelphia. So, with a sad heart, she’s having to step down due to her now amazingly busy schedule. Thank you so much, Val, for all that you’ve done for the site. It’s hard work being a Completist, quite thankless most of the time, and your hard work has been very much appreciated.

This also means that we’ve got an opening on the No Fact Zone Completists staff. If you’ve got an hour or two a week to spare, and want to blog for the best Colbert fan site on the web, we’d love to have the help!
