There’s a fun photo essay over at Comedy Central’s “Indecision Forever” site — blogger Gonzalo Cordova spent a day on the set of a promo shoot for The Daily Show/Colbert Report’s Indecision 2010 Midterm Mania:

Great news for those planning on attending the ‘March to Keep Fear Alive’ in Washington, D.C. on October 30th. (Or, if you’re one of “those” types, the Rally to Restore Sanity). Comedy Central has released a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the rally, including tips for travel, cost of the rally, volunteer opportunities, and more!

This is fantastic news for those of you who aren’t able to make it to DC on October 30th. Here’s the scoop, according to the C-SPAN Twitter feed!
Here we are for another round of the Fantasy Colbert League. This week has one of my favorites on the show in Jeff Tweedy – I love me some Wilco and his new project with Mavis Staples looks awesome. I picked up my copies (well, let’s be honested, my copies are being shipped) of David [...]

This weekend, we featured a plethora of mysterious and funny pictures from the ‘Night of Too Many Stars’ charity event, featuring Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell and Jon Stewart in what looked to be an aviation-themed musical number. Details have now emerged as to what exactly that musical number was all about, courtesy of the New York Daily News.
Greetings all and happy Sunday! The news just keeps coming in — more follow-up on Stephen’s testimony before Congress, more info on the Rallies, plus Night of Too Many Stars, a kind donation to Little Kids Rock, and more. Here’s All You Need to Know this week:

Greetings, Zoners, and welcome to our more-or-less-weekly roundup of Colbert news items! With the reaction to Stephen’s testimony before the House subcommittee on immigration slowly dying down, I’ve finally been able to take a few deep breaths and go back to compiling the usual news to keep us amused as we wait for this week’s shows. Today I’ve got a few more pieces on Stephen and Congress, a list of favorite comedians that includes a few familiar faces, and a cameo appearance by Stephen in someone else’s memoir. Here’s your zeitgeist for Sunday, October 3rd.

It seems that rarely a week goes by without hearing about another new cause that Stephen Colbert is supporting. This week, Stephen Colbert is helping a charity called Little Kids Rock, which is dedicated to bringing free musical instruments and music instruction to underserved schools across the country. A hand painted guitar is on the auction block, with a hysterical pic you have *got* to see!
