Detailed Schedule for Rally to Restore Sanity And/Or Fear

While the official venues may not be revealing the outlined schedule for the Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear, the Christian Science Monitor was able to get all kinds of wonderful details, courtesy of the National Parks Service permit, including when Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will take the stage.

Comments

  1. ZOMG!!!! I am SOOOOOOO excited!!!!!

  2. Yeah I’m already hearing fangirl squeeing from @clue_bat & other Law & Order fans over Sam Waterston showing up. Going to have to bring some handcuffs I suppose or poor Sammy won’t know what hit him.

  3. Spoon At A Spork Fight says:

Sanity and Fear Awards? Awesome! What are everyone’s guesses for likely nominees?

Fear: Glenn “Food Insurance” Beck, deserves something special, certainly. Others: Mother Nature (tornadoes, hurricanes, a very hot NYC summer), BP, Afghanistan, bank foreclosures, out of work relatives and friends.

Sanity: New York Times Crossword Puzzle, except for Sunday.

I can’t wait to hear The Roots, too! And I hope John Legend and/or Elvis Costello and/or Feist are one of the mystery musical guests (and if The Other Guy can get Springsteen to show up, I am not responsible for deafening those in the surrounding area with my hysterical cries of joy).

  4. mrtigger001 says:

Lol! Sam Waterston! This is gonna be great.

  5. Father Sarducci? Awesome!

I was at the taping of TDS today and during the Q&A someone asked Jon what they were going to do at the rally and he joked and said they had no plans. But then he said they had put a lot of work into it and thought it would be fun, but gave no details. So its interesting to see that there is an actual plan.

  6. I’m kinda bummed at this schedule…we only get a little over an hour of Stephen? I’m sure all the other stuff will be great but I’m traveling across the country to see Stephen, Jon, and…that’s it really. Ah well, I’ll take what I can get. My flight for the east coast leaves in 8 hours!!
