Six Degrees: Jon Stewart on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and TDS Barnes & Noble Book Signing Q&A.

In case you missed it, here is Jon’s appearance on “The Late Late Show wth David Letterman”. As always Jon and Dave were hilarious together talking about their children, current events, the “Rally to Restore Sanity”, Earth (The Book) and we find out just why Oprah hates Dave.

For those unable to attend here is the video of the book signing Q&A that took place at the Union Square Barnes & Noble.

After reading an excerpt from the “Religion” section of the book Jon and The Daily Show writers took some audience questions which included Jon’s view of The Daily Show before took over as host, their comedic influences, the lack of female writers on the show, favourite guest(s) and dream last guest, Jon’s relationship with Stephen, which he says is being like brother’s and “homoerotic” and many more questions.

Jon also discusses at length the origins of the “Rally to Restore Sanity” which was in the planning stages long before Glenn Beck’s Rally and the Reddit campaign and was originally planned to be held at the Lincoln Memorial, but was moved to the Washington Monument.

  1. thanks for the book signing videos! stick to the end– jon really handled the last couple of guys’ questions well

  2. Rebecca-Anne says:

I really enjoyed the Letterman interview. I love it when ever Jon talks about his children, he just lights right up.

I agree with GabbyD Jon really did handle those question being yelled at in Part 5. I don’t know what that guys problem was but he really needs to learn about time and place. I’m really glad everybody handle the situation well and that it didn’t ruin the event.

  3. the book signing, how funny was it though that they stayed THAT FAR into the whole thing to shout such horrible questions? When Jon pointed that out, I laughed pretty heartily.

Thanks for the videos!! Especially the book signing ones – that was a real treat.

  4. Yeah very funny stuff, trying to heckle a stage full of comedians? Not so smart.
