Hee hee!
Mr. Stephen Colbert, you may be the host, but that doesn’t let you off the hook for some fun and games, courtesy of our troops in Afghanistan.
In a typical move by members of our armed forces (typical if I believe some of Sebastian Junger‘s tales, anyway), members of the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, U.S. Army Rangers and some Navy personnel are planning to have a bit of fun with our fearless fearful leader in the upcoming “Been There, Won That: The Returnification of the American-Do Troopscape”.
Read about it here at the Washington Examiner.
I’m going with this guess, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
That is so awesome that they’re setting it up so that troops who are serving can watch the show taping live. Again, Stephen Colbert proves that he does not just talk the talk, but walks the walk.
Also? I love creepy crawlies, but that link skeeves me out.

Just the image you linked is enough to give me some freaky bad dreams, thank you very much! :)

Scared of? That guess might be right — but only because I don’t think there are any bears in Afghanistan!

So happy they’re making it possible for troops overseas to watch the taping!
But the link? **shudder** If I were Stephen, maybe I’d rather not know.

Ew, ew, ewwww! I do think he mentioned those particular creepy crawlies when talking about his time in Iraq, though. Yikes!

I’ll go along with that guess, seen that pic before, yech! Anyway, wasn’t that fear CONFIRMED with the tarantulas during the race discussion?

I am so freaking pumped for these shows, I can hardly stand it! :D
But why, oh WHY did I click on that link? That picture immediately gave me goosebumps. I hate spiders. *shudders*

Woohoo! Those spiders are wicked awesome! Aw, poor Stephen, if they spring that on him. I doubt the population of bears in Afghanistan, and New York, though that probably wouldn’t stop the troops. I wonder about owls, even though he said those were a waste of time to fear…

Those spiders are wicked awesome! Poor Stephen if they spring that on him, though. I doubt there are many bears in Afghanistan or NYC, besides at a zoo, but I guess these heroes could find a way. Unless they go for owls, even though Stephen said those are a waste of time to fear.

Spiders?? *clicks on link * Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I love spi……ooooh no, not ones THAT size. Feck!
[I hope it's nothing to do with bears, as that would mean having one handy for one wrong reason or another.]
