One of the new features on the Emmys.com website is the backstage camera shots, collectively called Backstage Live. As the Emmys were broadcasting, the live web stream would show different angles from different areas backstage.
The entire video from the show, with all the different cuts, is now being shown on the Emmys.com website. Click on the screen shot of Stephen Colbert in the green room to see the video, which shows Stephen Colbert in the Green Room around minute 6:52 or so in the video. You can also see some of the backstage reactions of people to Stephen’s presentation around 23:15, and you can see Stephen walk by on the Thank You cam around 26:34.
Stephen seems nervous at the beginning.

He did seem a bit fidgety as he was getting ready to go on stage. Maybe not being in character for these things is a bit more nerve racking.
On a side note, I did enjoy the bow tie-less tux this time around. Very dashing!
