Good morning, Zoners! My experience at OpenCamp has been pretty phenomenal so far. One of the best experiences so far at the conference is spending some time in the Genius Bar, and having Chris Jean from iThemes fixed two major problems with our site template. He moved our ReCAPTCHA from below the Send button in the comments to above the button (so we don’t put in a big comment and forget to put in the ReCAPTCHA before submitting) and put in a Home button in the top navbar so that readers in IE can click back to home easily after looking at individual posts.
I’m speaking today, August 29th, at 1:30p CDT on calilive.tv! My presentation today is titled “How to build your Nation”, and I’m speaking about community, specifically the Colbert Nation and our Zoner community. I’m so proud of what we have all built here, and it’s so impressive that the organizers asked me to talk about it to help other people learn from Stephen Colbert and the Nation.
So tune in, please! I want all of you to see how proud I am of you, and how much I brag about you to people when you’re not around.

Woopra’s not scary, I promise! If you ever want to see our stats, we have a Sitemeter link at the bottom of the blog, and you can see what our stats look like. Woopra shows this information, but they show it live, which is quite fun!
