Okay, Zoners, it is time for fancy pants and bling-bing!! This was a great week of fashion and feistiness. We saw Stephen show off his big guns and seek to replace his pennies with b*&ls in his loafers. Consumer Reports rates him full, red circles all the way. Sorry about delay in getting this report [...]
Greetings, Zoners! It’s time for our semi-irregular round-up of Stephen Colbert news items. Today we have a list with Stephen’s name on it, a backhanded apology from the Wall Street Journal, and news of Stephen in video form at a special exhibition at the Library of Congress.
Welcome to another installment of the Fantasy Colbert League. You can already check out one of this week’s guests, DEVO, by streaming their album on Colbertnation.com. I’m celebrating with a little clip from the BookExpo breakfast with Jon Stewart that we told you about earlier this year, with Jon hosting Condoleeza Rice, John Grisham, and Mary Roach. It doesn’t show the whole BEA breakfast panel, but you’ll be able to see Jon giggle over his “Science” chapter. It’s an exciting preview of Earth (The Book): A Visitor’s Guide to the Human Race, and you won’t want to miss it.

Here in the Colbert Nation, Flag Day is one of the holidays we love best, mostly because Stephen has given us so much in his oeuvre to celebrate. Come join the No Fact Zone festivities on this patriotic day!

James Joyce lovers rejoice: Bloomsday is fast approaching!
As has become tradition, Symphony Space is celebrating the occasion by staging a reading of Ulysses excerpts with a powerhouse cast of characters. For poor souls who can’t be there in person, make sure to catch the simulcast on June 16th (7 pm – 1 am).

Today DB talks about the ColbertNation.com boards going down on June 20th for 10 days, the new ‘Colbert Report’ ticketing system, and her speaking engagement at OpenCamp Dallas.

You know you can always send money but sometimes, do you wonder if there is something else you do? Something a little more personal? Do you ever think, is there anything special I can do that might, just might, make a difference? Well, here is another chance. Calling all animators, illustrators and cartoonists and those [...]
