FULL VIDEO: Conan O’Brien dance off with Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart

Gang, I cannot stop laughing at this video. It’s so full of that blend of cheeky double entendre and little boy roughhousing that we’ve come to love from Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart — utter delight! This video actually captures the full skit of the Radio City Music Hall late night dance-off that Ann described in her earlier post, from Stephen’s first appearance to the post-skit hugs. Watch it and bring the love.

Truly, the nose-to-nose and lip-to-lip confrontation moment might have become my favorite thing since watching Jon and Stephen share that slice of pizza. I’m laughing again just thinking about their awkward “confrontational” styles!

For the most unrehearsed skit ever, that was utterly hilarious! It’s so much fun to see them just playing around together – they’ve got such fantastic chemistry, and they’re clearly having a great time, it’s totally infectious. This has absolutely made my day :D

Ah, now that was awesome. It’s better to see the whole thing with the exchange of insults between Conan and Stephen, so the context is there. Best insult from Stephen: “You reek of cocoa butter… How ironic.” Best insult from Conan: “You live in New Jersey.” I seriously died laughing at that one.

Nothing is quite as hilarious as watching three grown men trying to out-silly each other onstage. :D

Ann, how great, how awesome, how flipping
fantastic that you were there at this show! Wow!

This is my favorite line, too:
“You reek of cocoa butter… How ironic.”
      Hahahahaha!

Geeze, they’re all so cute together. You can see how much
they like each other. And totally unrehearsed, silly, and
      did I mention amazing?

Thanks for everything. And thanks to whoever recorded this!

Was so sad that I couldn’t afford to see Conan & its utterly depressing that I missed it! OK, over that now:-) At a loss for words…someone made a comment about women probably would have started throwing their panties on stage when Jon came out…being there must have been a mind-blowing comedic orgasm! I need a cigarette just after watching the video! So great that even though they’re going to competing against each other when he hits TBS, they’re still friends.

I am forever grateful to the writer’s strike for bringing about the Conan/Colbert/Stewart friendship. These three are great together.

Props to Jon for wearing that horrendous outfit. LOL

    Thanks for posting Ms. I!

I’m loving all the bootleg footage that’s showing up — it’s all completely silly and brilliant. Here’s another angle of the dance-off, and from pretty close up!

Adding: And here’s another one, also from pretty close. These are really hilarious.

Thanks for finding the two full clips Ms. Interpreted! This was really fantastic.
Too bad Stephen’s hamstring went out. He was clearly crushing Conan in the Dance-off! :P

Ms Interpreted mentioned the skit in which Jon and Stephen share a slice of pizza. I’ve heard so much about that skit and really want to see it but can’t find a clip on TDS website. If anyone can provide a link to it, I’d be really grateful.

    • Ms Interpreted says:

It’s not on the Daily Show‘s website, unfortunately. I believe it was only on the “Indecision 2004″ DVD. I can’t point you to anything specific just now, but you can usually find at least the clip with the pizza incorporated into random fanvids or whatnot on YouTube.

The way I finally saw it was renting it from my local
library. It wouldn’t hurt to try and see if it’s at
          yours! Libraries are awesome lol.

Erika’s right – libraries are awesome lol! I would definitely check and see if they have it there first. But if they don’t, and you have both the cash and a serious love for TDS, I would highly recommend buying the Indecision 2004 dvd. I found mine online last year for like $10, and trust me, it’s worth it. All of the coverage is spectacular, and Stephen is spot-on. :)

That has to be some of the worst dancing ever caught on tape.

I know, right? Wasn’t it ridonk hilarious in its horribleness? Because I’m pretty sure that was the point. :)

Thank you so much for posting this! I absolutely cannot get enough of seeing the three of them on stage together, I love it. The combination of this and new TDS/TCR just made my week. :]

I still love that Stephen threw in some of his routine dance moves haha. It would be fantastic if Jon and Stephen did a Toss tonight and this gets a mention. *fingers crossed*

    • Erika says:

I love Stephen’s twirl! And, it seems like the cabbage patch is
becoming Jon’s signature move lol. He does that one a lot.

  13. Tish says:

The only way this can be made even more awesome would be for all the different videos to be combined into one life-size 3-D extravaganza. *flailing continuously since the fist Fangirl Alert*

That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. From now on when I hear Def Leppard’s Pour Some Sugar On Me, I’ll won’t be able to keep from laughing. I have a similar reaction to Prince’s When the Doves Cry because of Stephen.

  17. GB says:

Oh to be that close to Stephen’s lips. Few have been that close…Jane Fonda, Paul Dinello, Dave….um the guy from the SCTV 50th reunion and now Conan O’Brien. Hey there are way too many guys on this list.

    Man he rocked those jeans.

I think the best line was “You live in New Jersey” :-D

Wow! Just got back from vacation today and saw this! Hilarious. A great welcome home.

I’m sure the awfulness of the dancing is indeed the point, because Stephen can generally dance very well.

And I too nearly died laughing from the “You live in New Jersey!” line.

    Thanks so much for posting.
