Dear Zoners, does anyone else love to hear Stephen reading from “To Kill a Mockingbird” or the “Bloomsday on Broadway,” or Wigfield or I am America and So can you!? LOL *Headshake* sorry, I thought I could ask that with a straightface! Of course we adore hearing his voice where ever we can get it — on TCR, on old Mr. Goodwrench commercials, even on his flip video … so here is some eye candy for your ears! Enjoy!
This is a shout out for CDs of skits from Second City from a while back. Performers include, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Paul Dinello and Amy Sedaris to name a few. You can hear the rib tickling humor and the tension to keep it together when the urge must have been to bust out laughing and break the scene.
The CDs are from their time at Second City before they had made their names in the world of comedy. Surely a great complement to the Second City Unscripted.
Surely, it was a kick to come back together last year for the 50th Anniversary. Remember the great reunion at Second City and more news on the same? They certainly looked like they were enjoying the improv sketches and the panel discussions. Too much fun!
And how could we forget …
