Six Degrees: I Saw the Easter Bunny Edition.

G’day Zoners, I hope you all had a wonderful Easter (or Passover). Mine consisted of me grumbling about day light saving and the onset of the cold and flu season, followed by the consuming of a truckload of chocolate – all of which is going straight to my hips. It of course, has become unreasonably cold and rainy. Every year without fail the weather takes a down turn the minute the Easter Show roles into town, this year was no exception. I envy those of you in the Northern Hemisphere who are currently reading this entry in the beautiful Spring sunshine.

I cannot wait for Amy’s book to come out, for some reason i thought it was due in July…but November, gah it’s such a long wait. But i’m sure it will be worth it (and here’s hoping she’ll come back to TCR to promote it).

And since you mentioned Jon Stewart and the Time 100, don’t forget to vote for Stephen too.

Yes please! They’re long overdue for some more tumbling action with Paul Dinello. :)

Actually, I’ll be at the one in Saginaw at the Dow Event Center, since it’s closer. If I couldn’t have gone to that one, I would have bought tickets to the one in GR (even though it’s 3 hours away from me haha).
Have fun if you go! I think the one in Saginaw is before GR, so I’ll let you know how it went. :)

I’m so tempted to get tickets for David Sedaris in Chicago….

I was just searching around the Event’s calender for stuff going on in my area (Twin Cities) and apparently we’re going to have a four-part series at the Fitzgerald Theater called Wits, involving on one day, John Hodgman, and on April 29th George Saunders. When I was looking at the George Saunders information I saw something that REALLY got me interested: A special call-in interview with Amy Sedaris during the event. It wouldn’t be the same as seeing her live but it still would be pretty cool, so I might have to go to that too. Decisions.
