TiVo Alert: Stephen Colbert TONIGHT on NBC Olympic Late Night coverage

Hey, y’all! I just saw a commercial previewing another Stephen Colbert appearance on TONIGHT’s late broadcast of the Olympics on NBC. And Stephen was wearing the uniform of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the teaser. It was, in a word, adorable.

A little item in the Stamford Advocate just now covered the close of Stephen’s trip, so we won’t get too many more of these charming tibits, unfortunately. But don’t despair, that same Stamford Advocate piece said “ … he’s not ruling out a trip to the 2012 Summer Games in London.” (Oh my!)

My TV schedule says 12:05 to 1:30 am, but I don’t know at what point in the broadcast Stephen will be on.

I know what you mean, though — I’ve got to catch up on work, sleep and the usual errands this weekend. How am I supposed to do that if we keep having to wait to catch these late glimpses of Stephen?!

I give up. I’ll never make it that late – my kid gets up at 6:30am! Here’s hoping it’s posted online tomorrow.

  6. It was on around 12:25 am – 12:30 am. He was dressed as a Mountie.

As they had a second clip last night, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another later on, too.

Bummer – NBC is blocking the on-line video outside of the US.

Oh, that ROTS! Love the recaptcha.
Wish I could remember one of the acronyms that was floating around the internets during the whole Conan fiasco. Of course, most of them probably aren’t family-friendly!

I’m moving to London this September for grad school, and might still be living there in 2012, so we can die/be very happy together lol.
