Klassic Kolbert: Olympic Fever
ByI’m ridiculously excited that the Olympics are almost upon us, as I’m sure many of you are, too. Speedskating (of course), snowboarding, slalom, figure skating, you name it. I may have to dig out the old VCR (yeah yeah yeah, no TiVo) so I can skip all the sentimental back-story hype, though. In anticipation of all the fun headed our way, let’s look back at Stephen’s coverage of previous Olympic festivities. Let the silliness begin!
Daily Show Honorable Mention: “Do You Believe?” Stephen is a fan of figure skating, and Cher.

#5 “The Word – U.S.A.! U.S.A.!” Winning isn’t everything. It’s just as important that we rub it in.
More Olympics after the jump!
#4 – “Speed Skating Debacle” With creative use of props, Stephen acts out a tense press conference between skaters Shani Davis and Chad Hedrick.
#3 – “God’s Pilates Class” Stephen plans a captive breeding program for Olympic athletes.

#2 – “2016 Olympics in Chicago” In which beer is consumed, and Stephen and George Wendt trash talk countries competing for the 2016 games.
#1- “The Olympics – Après Ski” An adorkable sweater, 2-day stubble, beer, and sexual innuendos. Oh the multiple layers of joy.

I’ve been using google chrome for some time now and I never had a problem with it – until a couple of days ago when the videos from the shows sites started giving me an error message.
I can still view them using firefox, but I’d like to know if anyone else has this same problem?

For the first time in winter Olympic history curling is sold out. Perhaps they got the Colbert bump.
