Sooooo …. I guess this means that now I’m going to have to watch the Grammys.
I hope you all have time to watch some TV this Sunday night (or, you know, have some room on your TiVos).

Yeah, half of me is all “yay, Stephen on the Grammys!” and the other half is groaning because now I have to watch the Grammys. But if “A Colbert Christmas” wins it’ll be totally worth it.

Aww, Weird Al, you should hope you win, because then you can become Stephen’s nemesis for a few weeks, until he has you come on the show.

I know, I struggle with the same question. Because I *really* don’t want to spend all night watching another awards show.

Colbert may actually have a shot at winning this thing… I wonder how many people can say they have a Peabody, Emmy & Grammy?

Ok, all this Grammy stuff has got me down. *But* it does make me think of great post-Grammy TCR moments. 1st on my list: 2007 Grammy Awards (with the funktastic “My Humps” dance, lol).

Also, on a “My Humps” tangent, I think one of my favorite moments on “The Office” ever is the first time that Michael Scott’s cell phone rang and it was playing a very midi-version of “My Humps”. HAHAH!

Makes me think of Stephen talking about Iris Puffybush (Dolores Duffy) being on the 1952 Helsinki Olympic team in the SWC commentary and then the director saying, “They say, eat healthy, exercise, but it’s all bulls**t!”

Yes, reCAPTCHA throws in an SWC reference! Iris Puffybush has to be my favorite name they thought up for the show. Unless you count the joke-names for students: “Buster, I like what you’re doing…Keaton, very thin.” haha

Wow-that’s a quick turn around! LA on Sunday and back in NYC to tape his show on Monday. Such dedication!

I have two reasons to watch the Grammys on Sunday: One because of Stephen (it’s always nice to see him in a tux) and two because Jeff Beck is performing. But I’m really hoping Stephen presents early, because I don’t think I have the stomach to sit through three hours of it all. Does anyone know the order in which they give out the awards? That way I can jump back to it when they announce Stephen’s category.
