Viewers Can Log Onto ColbertNation.com After Colbert Makes The Announcement On The Monday, January 18 Show For A Chance To Bid On The ‘C’ Desk, The Interview Table And The Portrait Of Stephen(s) With Proceeds To Benefit Three Different Charities
NEW YORK, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ — On Monday, January 4, “The Colbert Report” revealed a brand new set (designed by Jack Morton PDG) since its debut in October 2005, which accompanied a new show open (designed by Mr. Wonderful). With the new set in place, “The Colbert Report” will auction off three famous pieces from the former set to benefit three charities chosen by the host and calling it “Own A Piece of Histor-Me: A Colbert Nation Liquidation.”
I hope these auctions get pushed sky high (by legitimate bidders) so that the James W. Colbert Endowment, US Speedskating and the Yellow Ribbon Fund can refill their coffers. Good luck, bidders!

How amazingly fun would it be to win the “C” desk, and to be able to use it as my Bloggin’ Station? I hope the prices for these go sky high too – I’d love to see the charities get more mileage out of these.

I would love to have the interview table as my dining room table! Alas, I am not independently wealthy.

How cool! It would be too awesome to have the “C” desk as my actual computer desk.

My gleeful hope is Brian Williams buys the C desk. Charlie Rose buys the interview desk. George W. Bush buys the portrait of Stephen Colbert.
That would be very fitting. I also hope that they raise over 100k bucks, as Colbert supports great charities.

It’s a bit late, but I just noticed this post. :)
How fantastic would it be if Brian Williams bought the C desk and started using it at the Nightly News? That would be so massive!
Definitely looking forward to seeing Stephen announce this on the show this week.
