Greetings, Toss fans! How’s everyone enjoying high definition Daily Show and Colbert Report? The widescreen goodness has been the highlight of my television week, I don’t mind telling you. No new Toss this week so I pulled one up from last year around this time. Let’s get in our Wayback Machine and recall this gem from January 2009:
Daily/Colbert – New Year’s Resolutions: Stephen’s resolution is to not make any resolutions.
I wonder if Jon achieved his 2009 goal of getting rid of his gonorrhea once and for all? Hope that tincture of mercury came in handy. How about you, Zoners? Anyone make any resolutions for 2010? Hope everyone is having a good New Year so far.
I was so upset that there wasn’t a toss this week, but this clip definitely makes up for it. I love the “tincture of mercury” line! Hopefully that helped Jon’s gonhorrea.
Unfortunately, I’ve already broken my New Year’s Resolution to give up pasta. But that was bound to happen since I somehow decided it would be posssible to wean myself off of it. Carbs are so addicting…

My mini-resolution over Christmas was to not get in any family fights over politics – and I managed it! But only because I totally cut myself off from the news for two weeks… Now my New Year’s resolution is to watch lots of TDS/TCR to make up for it.
(Oh, and there’s the diet thing, but that’s *every* year.)

Here’s hoping they do one next week! Preferably as soon as possible, so Monday would be nice. Thanks for the Klassic Toss, though – I really hope Jon was able to get rid of his, ahem, problem. hahaha!
I’ve never really made New Year’s Resolutions…I tend to forget them when I do, which suggests that I don’t take them too seriously, lol. So this year, it’s not really a resolution so much as something I am determined to make happen, and that would be that I am going to New York City this summer to see a taping of TDS and TCR. Meeting Stephen wouldn’t be so bad, either. :)
