Spoiler alert! More Olympic segments?

We all enjoyed the Skeleton segment last week, and we know there’s at least one more segment on the way. But it looks like there could be yet another Olympic segment in the pipeline.

USA Olympic Curling Team was at Plainfield [http://www.njcurling.org] working on a special with Stephen Colbert. The five players of Team USA Curling 2010 are led by 2006 Olympic Curling Bronze medalist John Shuster, Chris Plys, Jason Smith, Jeff Isaacson, and John Benton.
The team played an aggressive schedule of eight events on the World Curling Tour; qualifying for the playoffs in four of the eight events from September to January.

OMG, the Plainfield Curling Club! Hahahaha…. Never occurred to me that Stephen could do an Olympic segment there.

OH MAN! So excited for more segments! I really hope he does a hockey one, that would be too awesome. And a snowboarding one. ahhahaha!

I love how much fun Stephen is able to have with the sponsorship while building an insane amount of support for the Speedskating team. There are just so many Winter Olympic sports that allow for Stephen to make a complete fool out of himself (Figure skating, anyone? Hockey or snowboarding would be great as well…).
And I will never get sick of the casual look – the man looks fantastic. :)

Heh, all I know about Curling is what I saw on “Corner Gas” but I have a feeling that that’s a sport where Stephen could have some real fun. I hope there’s a segment of that coming up soon!

Yes, I love it too- I saw clips of it on the internet and ended up buying all the DVDs. Apparently they say “Hurry Hard” when curling? We’ll have to see if Stephen says that!

A curling team’s skip (captain) might say “hurry hard” when he wants the sweepers to sweep in front of the stone vigorously.
Also, USA Curling is launching “hurry hard” condoms (hurryhardcondoms.com) to raise money for AIDS education.
