Monday, November 16

Grey suit, white on white vertical striped shirt, light blue tie with dark blue pattern, barrel cuffs

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• I actually don’t like him in grey as much as in black, especially black pinstripe.
• The “Obama’s bow” segment was infuriating. Man I hate the news.
• The Word was SO good. So many “~_~” moments.
• BRAI-AINS!
• In bed.

Tuesday, November 17

Black wide pinstripe suit, light blue shirt, burgundy tie with light blue dot pattern, french cuffs
BKAD: Black suit, white shirt, gold tie with blue and white vertical stripes, barrel cuffs

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• Pinstripes? French cuffs? Oh. Oh.
• For that kind of money, I could go to the Taco Bell value menu and walk out with two burritos on my feet!
• “Museum of Pez Memorabilia” reference on BKAD reminded me of the Steve Carell segment on TDS where he interviewed the guy who thought Pez would be the new currency after Y2k. It was so good.
• WILL YOU TAKE ME TO THE MALL? I WANNA BUY A PAIR OF RASPBERRY CORDUROYS. THEY ARE SO MASSIVE.
• Malcom Gladwell is pretty goofy looking, but I daresay his books look interesting! Also, he was on this Newsweek “Thought Leaders” list with Jon Stewart.

Wednesday, November 18

Black suit, white shirt, red and navy diagonally striped tie, french cuffs

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• He really does look so good in bold colours.
• I love when he says things that are out-of-character while still in character (The fact that this book is a steaming pile of s***…). SO, if I may, HOT. Ngh.
• The balls montage was hilarious.
• Norah Jones was adorable. (“Don’t you like your fans enough to be caught snorting coke in your underwear?”)

Thursday, November 19

Black suit, white shirt, black tie with white polka dots, french cuffs

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

• Did anyone else spend this whole episode flipping between David Letterman and TCR? Maybe I was the only moron who just *has* to see it when it airs as opposed to the re-run/online episodes. I’m the worst. ;-;
• I feel like we’ve been seeing a lot of this tie? I like it though.
• OoOh, Oscar Wilde reference.
• Let’s see if dinner’s on me…. It is not.
• I love that TDS had literally the exact same thing to say about John Roberts not knowing what “gaywad” was: Really? You dont know what a gaywad is? Really.
