Hello Zoners! So how many people are relieved break week is over? These week-long breaks are kind of nice for catching up on sleep, but it gets hard to entertain yourself by Thursday night. By Monday night, I’m always happy to see Stephen’s face again (and his hair! It’s almost back to normal!)
So, I’ll be honest–I’ve been waiting for this week for a while. First, because Halloween is this Saturday, and without a doubt, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of all time. Second, because it’s Halloween, I finally get to feature this Even Stevphens, in which Steve Carell teaches a deprived Stephen Colbert how to trick-or-treat. Fake crying! Sound effects! A pumpkin candy holder! Yay!

Also, be sure to head over to The Daily Show website for more awesome Halloween Daily Show clips.
Have a good week Zoners! If you go out this Saturday, make sure to stay safe!
Could someone help me find a link for this so I can watch it in Canada? Unfortunately, The Comedy Network site doesn’t have this clip and google.video.com hates me.
Help?

The Comedy Network does have some old stuff under their correspondents section when you look at TDS videos. Fortunately, this one is there: try http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/the-daily-show-with-jon-stewart/correspondents/#clip15027

Thanks a bunch, but I actually ended up finding almost right after I posted that. Haha! I requested a deletion, but whatever. Thanks so much anyway :)

My favorite Even Stephven EVER. I figured it would get posted this week. Yay!

There’s an awesome Carell-centric segment that was on the TDS front page a couple days ago:

The best part is Stephen’s brief cameo in which he says, “Hey, guess what? I’m the new host!” Mmm how prescient.

Oh, that was howlingly funny! Actually, one of my favorite parts was the aluminum foil bar on the “ride.”

I love this Even Stephven!! :P

I was hoping this would be posted. It is my favorite!
I really wish these guys would collaborate again on anything…it has been too long since they graced a stage together. I have a feeling if Steve were to be on TCR it would just end up being an entire 1/2 hour of breaking character, giggles and smiles which I am totally fine with!!!! ;)

That would be soo funny

I think this is legit my most favourite clip on the entirety of the TDS website. :)

“I want candy” -grabs-
That was so funny
Stephen is so cute in this ^-^

The range of emotion is so articulate…sad, disappointed, confused, timid, upset, and briefly happy. I really feel for the guy and believe he hasn’t been trick or treating! Colbert is good!
btw- How many “even stevphens” contain one or both of them crying?

Huh. I’m not sure, but that could be a good project. I’ll check it out, ’cause there’s at least one more that I can think of.

Including this one, my guess is 5. (I can think of 3 where they do or come close, not sure if that counts!) Though it is Stephen who usually makes Steve cry through bullying or frustration! Thanks for checking it out, I may as well! A fun distraction!

I know, I felt like he was really good at playing someone that never treat-or-treated ^^

I can watch this skit over and over, it’s by far my favorite Even Stevphen. Every time I see Colbert talk about candy (or dowse himself in sugar) I can’t help but think, tsk tsk Steve, look what you did to him XD

Mark Malkoff sighting
Full Video, plus pictures

LOL, spending some time on the interweb I came across Mark Malkoff (or someone who looks and sounds just like him). He has some decent pipes. He comes in at 1:30 into the video. The full video and story behind it is available @ http://improveverywhere.com/2009/10/20/grocery-store-musical/
If this isn’t Mark, then its his twin or something. But very funny and enjoyable–check it out.

Nope, not Mark (way too tall), but you are totally right – his looks are so similar it’s eerie.

Oh, I want to give Stephen a great big hug every time after seeing that segment. I wonder what he dressed up as for Halloween as a kid:)

Something involved with D&D or LOTR, I imagine. ahhaha
