Sunday, 25 Oct 2009I return to the writing staff of The Colbert Report. October 26, 2009. I will be concentrating on this rather than outside stuff/performing for a while. Please tune in to one of the finest, funniest shows on TV. I’m thrilled to be back.

For those of you who may be new to the show, Eric Drysdale has been working with Stephen since the ‘Daily Show’. He followed Stephen to the ‘Colbert Report’ and worked with him until around the time the writers returned from the WGA Writer’s Strike in April 2008. In addition his fine writing abilities, he is best known to the fans as the character Stage Manager Bobby.
We here at No Fact Zone were heartbroken to see him go, and are ecstatic to see him back! Here’s some of the tastiest morsels of Eric Drysdale’s career in the final segments before he left the show last year.

would be funny if this were justified…is there some kind of reversal to cannibalism? it’s great he’s back!!! :D I barely knew him, since I started watching just around the time he quit (I began when they came back on the air during the strike…I know that’s a crummy time…)
