w00t in my Psy class I get to do a paper about Colbert’s word~! and how that deals with psy. I’m so happy~! (I asked my teacher if I could do it for extra credit)

I always go back to his Charlie Rose interview when he explained his feelings on it: he mentioned the fact that there were about 3,000 people in attendance and that when the jokes landed, everyone laughed and it was a real high. But when the jokes didn’t go so well, about 1,000 people still laughed. So he said he didn’t realize how polarizing it was until he got back to TCR that week and then he just quit worrying about it. I’ve always respected him for that – he liked how it went and was very happy with it and that’s all that matters. The awesome thing is how many other people came out respecting him for it as well. :)

Yep I don’t think there’s any doubt which side of the fence we’re all on. And Stephen himself always acts like it was no big deal :)

Those VIP tickets sound fantastic, but they’re beyond my price range too. I did manage to grab tickets to the Second City Anniversary Colbert Report panel though. It’s nice to have a bit of TCR come back to the Windy City.

Ohhhh what I wouldn’t give for those tickets! I sure wish I had an extra $1000 lying around. Maybe if I check underneath the pillows in the couch… ;)

LOVE that quote by Craig Ferguson! I love how he worded the polarization of Stephen’s speech – if he were to ask me if Stephen had “either died the worst death ever seen by a comic in the history of comedy and death, or had delivered the most fearless piece of political satire this country has ever seen,” I’d say the latter, without a doubt. :D

I want those tickets….maybe I could get my rich friend that loves Colbert to buy the tickets and take me XD
