Klassic Kolbert: Internal Decapitation

Hello Zoners! So, I don’t know how many of you saw this on the Today Show the other day, but there was a woman in Missoula, Montana who somehow managed to survive being impaled in the neck by a tree branch as she and her husband were driving home one day. Now, after the initial shock and disbelief when I heard this story, my first thought was “This was just like that woman who survived internal decapitation!” So, because this story happened right outside where I live, and because I always enjoy Cheating Death, here’s a little walk down memory lane for everyone.
