   Here’s a thing of beauty, from some of the ladies who were at last night’s Daily Show taping and described the pre-toss banter between Jon and Stephen:

   One other thing Jon said to Stephen was that he didn’t know how Stephen had such energy (as Stephen was doing his dancing at the desk) because the jet lag had hit him harder yesterday than it did on Tuesday. To which Stephen replied that Jon blew all his energy on accepting all his “f*#king Emmys”! After the pre-toss and before the actual toss, Jon alluded to the audience that TCR had sent TDS a penis shaped cake with the inscription: “Go f*#k yourselves” (about their Emmy wins). Jon was trying to convince himself that he shouldn’t take it personally since it read “yourselves” and not just “yourself”. Well, I know I’m not doing in any justice, but it was very funny when he said it.

   Bwahahahaha!!

   I wonder, to whom does one go to request and purchase such a cake?

   Hmmm…this segment is from 2003 and Stephen started his show in 2005? Do you think they were already brainstorming about his own show at this point and it’s sort of an inside joke during this segment? I’d love to know that all evolved!
