Well, boys and girls, it’s almost Rosh Hashanah, and that’s as good a reason as any to revisit one of Stephen’s hilarious and oh-so-culturally-sensitive segments from years gone by: the Atone Phone. I cannot begin to describe for you how hard I laughed when Stephen first introduced 1-888-OOPS-JEW, and that laughter only compounded when I realized it was a working number (at the time). So, in honor of Stephen’s Jewish Friend, here’s a look back at that hilarious segment.

I love the Jon Stewart call-in. That one always makes me laugh out loud. I wish they’d interact more often, outside of the toss, I mean. I really loved it when Jon came in to apologize to Geraldo Rivera. That clip is hilarious.
