Fangirl Suit Report- Week of August 17

This is Val here, but I can only take credit for Thursday’s work – verbal typo did the rest. This was a great week for the show. I think after that “Tip of the Hat/Wag of the Finger” we were all a little happier. So let’s get to it…
Monday, August 17
Stephen wears a navy blue suit, a classic red/navy striped tie, white shirt, and barrel cuffs.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Hip surgery?! Does anyone else sense the coming of a HipStrong movement?
- Feathery caps: not just for the gays!
Tuesday, August 18
Gray pinstripe suit, deep violet tie with pattern, pale blue shirt, and french cuffs.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Here’s a fun game: try to count the number of character breaks during “Tip of the Hat/Wag of the Finger.”
- That ram horn is back! Gamy.
Wednesday, August 19
Black pinstripe suit, navy/white/sky blue stripe tie, white shirt, and barrel cuffs.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- That’s a lovely suit! Of course Stephen has to pour sugar all over it…
- This is another screencap-packed episode!
- I wonder if there’s a recipe for Colbert’s mega-shrimp paste…
Thursday, August 20
Gray suit, Navy tie with white pattern, light blue shirt, and barrel cuffs.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- P.K. Winsome! Obamargarine and crackers!
- Is Stephen Irish? I thought he was French vanilla?
- Well, Stephen made the famous “I Have A Dreamsicle” speech.
That’s it for the week, and unfortunately for the next three weeks too. Sometimes it is nice to catch up on sleep when the show goes on break though. With school starting for some of us, it might be healthy. Sadly for Stephen, he won’t be able to take Harry Elephante to France. I wonder how much his hair grows in three weeks?

Hey, I’d buy HipStrong bracelets – I had my left hip replaced July, 2008! I know plenty of people that I could give them to as gifts.

This was a great week – especially Tuesday with all those character breaks! I think during the 3-week break, I’ll have to back to watch it and count the number of times he breaks. :D I absolutely loved his outfit on Wednesday. I don’t know what it was – the pinstripes combined with that tie looked fab on him!
You make a good point about catching up on sleep, haha. And it will be nice because school is starting again. Still, I’ll miss my nightly chuckle with Jon and Stephen! Can’t wait to see his hair when he comes back. *grin*

Best suit of the week was clearly Wednesday’s – something so bright and crisp about it, even when sugar-coated!

Hey Val! I managed to get to a computer here in Rochester. Lovely job finishing the report for me! :D I couldn’t help but rewatch and chuckle at the “I Have a Dreamsicle” speech. :)
