Hat tip to Megan, who clued DB and I in to a tweet from Colbert Report warm-up comedian and radio host Pete Dominick:
Annoyingly, I can’t listen to this today (arrgh!), but I hope some of you can make use of this link to catch the show. Please share details in the comments!
EDIT:
Check out the official press release after the jump!

Tune in tonight at 5:00 pm ET to hear Pete Dominick’s interview with funnyman Stephen Colbert, the Emmy® award-winning host of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central.
Colbert discusses the amazing experience he and his staff had bringing his show to Iraq this year, the art of choosing topics and issues for the popular “Formidable Opponent” segment on his show, the difference between covering ongoing news stories that dominate the headlines (such as the election and health care) and more off-the-beaten path news, such as comic book legend Archie proposing to Veronica instead of Betty.
Stand Up with Pete Dominick airs Monday – Friday from 3:00 – 6:00 pm ET on SIRIUS XM’s P.O.T.U.S. – SIRIUS channel 110/XM channel 130.
On his daily radio show comedian and political satirist Dominick takes a down-to-earth and humorous approach to the issues important to everyday Americans. Unbiased and independent, P.O.T.U.S. is where politicians can hear how they’re perceived by the people. P.O.T.U.S. was originally created to offer unprecedented unfiltered coverage of the 2008 presidential election and has evolved into SIRIUS XM Radio’s channel dedicated to The Politics of the United States. P.O.T.U.S. channel bridges the gap between the politics of the White House and the issues that matter most to Americans, broadcasting an independent forum for political news and discussion.

This is great thanks! I remember his last appearance. Actually I just listened to that last week so I’m really excited to hear him again. Last time they even got him to talk about donkey punches. Delightful!! :)

Any chance at all this will be posted on Pete’s site at some point? The previous interview was fabulous, and I’d love to hear this one too.

Ok, I just heard the last 20 minutes or so (courtesy of the free online trial), and it was a really good interview. Sounds like it might be available on Pete’s site, too.

Great great interview! I heard a lot of things I didn’t know about before. I especially liked the story about Stephen having a guard following him everywhere and that a few times he would shake the guard accidentally because he’d be too busy and then he got in trouble for it. :D
I do believe it’ll be online on Pete’s site at some point. I’ll have to give it another listen because I have a cat who would not stop meowing the entire time I was trying to hear it.
I was surprised that this one was censored….since the last one definitely wasn’t.

Wonderfully done! Mouse is my new hero/Alpha Dog for Life.
Really enjoyed hearing behind-the-scenes stories about the Iraq trip, writing/running the Report (especially Formidable Opponent), and riffing on the the general state of things. Although Stephen’s comment about Oklahoma scares the bejeezus out of me.
I hope the staff at TCR and Stephen know how much their doing that DADT bit in Iraq meant to me and, I’m sure, many other fans (and soldiers). I still got a little teary hearing them talking about doing it despite some less-than-thrilled input. It was a funny-as-hell bit and one that spread a little light. And a great day for the Nation! I am now even more psyched to see the show (1st time!) in October. :-)
