Eye Candy: Movits! edition

I just can’t get enough of this band! Thanks to Juice for tipping me off to this picture on the Movits! MySpace page, and this cute pic of Movits! and Stephen Colbert backstage at the ‘Colbert Report’.

  1. I loove their glasses! And their geeky cool white sneakers too.

I can’t get over how much Johan looks like one of the teachers in my department at school.

Stephen looks like Ahmed-never-wear-a-tie-ijad. It’s only because of the fact that he’s not a wearing a tie, but still. It’s weird to see him in a suit without a tie.

I lived in Sweden for a year, so if you’re attracted to any of the Swedes, move there immediately, they do in fact all look this hip/socialist.

Stephen, I was as moved and mesmerized by Movits as you were. I think you would be equally smitten by “Hallelujah by Four Norwegian Guys,” a soulful rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ballad that I discovered late one night on Youtube.

Thanks for the comment! Just so you know, though, we’re not the official site of Stephen Colbert, and there’s no guarantee that Stephen will see your comment.

I hope you will return, though – we’re a friendly bunch here at No Fact Zone, and we’d love to see you back!

  8. Well, I’m 50 years old and for 10+ years or so I have said there’s no “new” music to be found. I LEAST expected to find something new on the Colbert Report! These guys are unique and worthy of praise! The music made me feel good even though I had no clue what they were singing (maybe I just couldn’t hear the words). No matter – I still had a good foot-tapping going! Reminds me of back in the 80s when I first heard Stray Cats! Rock On! Rap On – whatever – keep up the good vibes!
