Hello yet again! My apologies for not doing FCLW for two weeks. I was out of town one week and really busy the other. There were great guests both weeks, and we have a few great guests coming up. Please read and feel free to comment. I don’t know everything about everybody so if you know something about one of these fine guests please let us know. Movits is a Swedish band. They are “hip hop,” or at least what Swedish people call hip hop. They are fairly popular in Sweden but upstart here. They must be searching for a Colbert Bump.
Tuesday, July 28th: Arianna Huffington

Arianna Huffington is a frequent guest on The Colbert Report; Tuesday will be her third appearance. Similarly, The Colbert Report is often mentioned on The Huffington Post, Arianna’s blog. The Huffington Post is a Liberal news blog. Arianna was named the 12 most influential woman in the Media in 2009. Her blog attracts many celebrities such as Robert Redford, Oliver Stone, Bill Maher, and Senator Kristen Gillibrand.

Thursday, July 30th: Kathryn Bigelow

Karthyn Bigelow is a director. She directed “The Loveless,” “Near Dark,” “Blue Steel,” “Point Break,” “Strange Days,” “The Weight Of Water,” “K-19: The WidowMaker.” and her most recent film “The Hurt Locker.” “The Hurt Locker” is a film about post-invasion Iraq. It has been seen at many film festivals and received numerous awards.
Saw The Hurt Locker weekend before last — it’s fantastic. Seriously adrenaline-filled, painful and grim. It’s sympathetic and respectful of the guys in explosive ordinance disposal without descending into cheap glorification, and it combines a weird fatalism and euphoria in way the characters operate.
And I’m LOVING that we’re seeing more women than usual this week! :)

My random based on squat guess for Wednesday is Keith Olbermann. Keith’s on vacation this week; it could happen! Okay, so it’s just what I -want- to happen. But we can all dream here, can’t we?
