The bees are coming and going FROM HIS MOUTH!!
How cool/crazy is this artwork?! Colbert Nation member and avid bee-thusiast Susan M. Brackney, author of “Plan Bee: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Hardest-Working Creatures on the Planet”, has made the most unique piece of fan art I have ever seen. It’s a beehive, with a picture of Stephen Colbert painted on the side. And the bees go in and out of the hive THROUGH STEPHEN COLBERT’S MOUTH!! Holy cow! At the end, there’s a long shot of the picture and the bees. I just couldn’t look away. I also learned quite a bit about beekeeping and honeybee hives. Knowledge is power!

Stephen has got to put part of that video on the air. Thanks for posting it, DB; it was fascinating. I remember reading a YA novel back in middle school about a (British?) choir school that also raised bees, and I’ve been interested in bees (not to the same degree as Susan, though) since then.
