Hello, Zoners! No, you’re not crazy and you didn’t miss anything — there was no Toss this week. No doubt the boys are having a hard time coming up with a way to top their last Toss. So in the absence of new material, I decided to just post one of my favorites! We could always use some more Klassic Kolbert, right? The Toss Recap is a relatively new feature and there’s still plenty of them in the archives to fawn over. So without further ado, I give you: the classic JFK Airport Toss!

JFK Airport: Stephen gives Jon up-to-date info about the JFK Airport story.

For our Zoners who maybe don’t know the reference, this is a send-up of Walter Cronkite’s announcement, live on CBS news, of John F. Kennedy’s death (which you can view here — queue it right up to the 5:00 mark). I blame Jon for making Stephen break, he was so close to the end! And now we’ll never know how it was supposed to end, but the ending we got wasn’t bad either. I love character breaks.
