I loved the movie. Too bad I missed out on the chat!
So I tried to get my mom to watch, but 30 minutes in during commercial break she called me and told me it was well…she absolutely hated it. (I’m summarizing, she put it much, much more harshly.)
At first I was hurt, and worried whether of not I just liked it because Stephen starred in it. But then I remembered all the hilarious episodes of SWC, and didn’t take long for me to get back in the spirit. You either get it, or you don’t. And love my Jerri, Noblet, and Jellineck. : )

My Mom doesn’t exactly like Strangers With Candy either. She’s never seen the movie though. She got the series for my birthday in August 2007. I wanted her to she exactly what she had got me. I wanted to she what she would think of it too so I showed her the first episode. Basically she calls it “weird”. That humor is only for us I guess.
