Spoiler alert: Photo from upcoming ‘Colbert Report’ segment

By Ms Interpreted on May 8th, 2009 ·

Well, here’s a … provocative image, courtesy of Visual Edge Productions. Looking forward to seeing what it’s from!

UPDATE: For those of you who don’t normally read the comments, you’d be well served to make an exception this time; there are links to additional photos and a brief item on the segment itself. Thanks for the contributions, venus and BC!

Hahaha! Great story BC! Thanks! My favorite bit:

When asked how Pvt. Colbert faired, Chantz just shook his head in disgust.
“He wouldn’t graduate,” he said. “We would be in trouble if he was in uniform.”

I think that’s usually for when you glide across a wire and that serves as support. Gah. Can someone explain it better?

Standard climbing harness. You can see the carabiners (metal clips) hanging off the front. Always makes me feel for male climbers, it just can’t be comfortable. But better than falling!

That is hot.
He can honestly make anything look good. Even when he’s wearing a scuba suit and tap dancing in flippers.
I want to put that up on my wall and stare at it every day.

I always thought the crew packed up and went with him, not that he hired a different crew for his field trips.

Thank-you for the pic/link, it’s a veritable treasure trove.
Such a hoot! Love cry-baby soldier Colbert. And yeah, definitely shades of ‘mission accomplished’, esp with those crotch straps hahaha!…frankly, they suit Colbert much better…;D

He should be cited as a fashion icon. He makes everything look good!

Hahaha, funny captions on the Flickr set! I love that he looks like such a sad little boy when being corrected by Sgt. 1st Class Demetrius Chantz. And is he toting an LV bag in his arrival pic?!!?? In a tracksuit!! So hilarious!

For reals. I gotta say, he can really work the camouflage look.

What a way to wake up in the morning: Stephen in cammies! *dies* I love, love, LOVE a guy in uniform, and that has nothing to do with my being in JROTC in high school (although that part of me is ecstatic). Boy, does this bring back memories! I can’t wait to see this episode! Thanks, MsI!

@ColbertGirl27: If I’m right, the gizmo around his waist is for rappelling. But I’m not sure. It’d be my first guess!
