I'm so happy that Stephen is promoting this, because I'm pretty sure I'd never have heard about it otherwise and I like the whole system of it...makes my brain happy because it makes so much sense. I don't know if it's the administrators putting pressure on instructors to pass marginal students or what. I know, when I was in high school, the kids who couldn't pass a class went on to some kind of remedial program, which was rumored to be an incredibly easy, painless option. Maybe if we started paying instructors like professionals, we could start holding them more accountable. Sorry, I went kind of OT there.
