Hello, Zoners, and welcome to another FSR. And although there were only 3 episodes this week, Stephen kicked it up a notch and was certainly looking sharper than ever.
Tuesday, April 14
In a charcoal gray flannel suit, navy blue tie with large square pattern, light blue and white striped shirt with french cuffs (yay!), you really can’t go wrong.

Wednesday, April 15
Stephen wore a black suit, a navy, silver, and white striped tie and a white and blue pinstripe shirt with barrel cuffs.

- Remember the Ewoks! (I know these last two have nothing to do with wardrobe. I just thought that the additional notes for today seemed a little bare. hopefully I’ll make up for it in the screencap.)
Thursday, April 16
He’s wearing a light gray, blue pinstriped suit, a black tie with a circle patter, a pale blue shirt, and barrel cuffs. Heaven!

- stylin’ in that anti-gay ad, Stephen. It’s nice to see you in that comfy casual we know so well.
- I am loving Kanishk’s tie.
Well, that concludes this week’s installment of the FSR. My parting question: Do you like when he wears the gray suits, or do you prefer the classic black? Personally, I really like the occasional charcoal suit, or even the lighter ones like Friday’s.
I refreshed this page and I just smiled soooo widely when I saw the fangirl suit report was up! I love this feature!
Oh, man. He is SO adorable in that first screencap. You’re right, he did look extra snazzy this week. Perhaps it was to make up for there only being three shows.
Personally, I like the darker suits better because they compliment his hair really well. But I don’t mind the occasional lighter/gray suit, he seems to wear them when the weather gets nicer – very fashionable, Mr. Colbert!

I love the Fangirl Suit Report a lot too! and that first cap is very smile-inducing! :D
as for suit preferences I don’t even notice. I don’t see the ties. the only appearance-related things I see are
1) making sure the Wriststrong is present
2) the hair. I will notice a difference in the hair.
but that is what this Suit Report does for me– it brings me up to speed about a part of the show that I’d miss otherwise!

I love the Fangirl Report! I’m a self-proclaimed fangirl and I always point out what type of tie or what color suit Stephen is wearing. He’s so adorable and cute, and has a smile and laugh that can make anyone smile with him.
My favorite type of suit that would wear would his famous Pinstripe suits. The first “Report” I saw, he was wearing a black suit with dark grey pinstripes. Fashionably wonderful!

id have to say the black w/pinstripe is a favorite, best for “stephen” and just all around handsome. but when thursdays show opened i was definitely won over by the grey w/blue pinstripes, it looks good for spring and looked fantastic on him.
and yes, this is a great feature!

He always looks great! I do like the occasional change to gray, either dark or light. He’s always so well put-together with the shirt, tie and suite combo.

My favorite look for “Stephen” is the black pinstipe suits with the black shiny shoes (and hair to match :D). That said, I was surprised I liked his grey suit too – but come to think of it, all he really needs to wear is a smile to look great!

I was kindof mesmerized by the light grey! mmm pretty. It’s a little surprising, since I love the dark pinstripes, and Stephen looks so good in them – but it just brightened up everything in a way that was a nice change of pace. (woudln’t be my favorite everyday I think.) When I saw it I thought, “I can’t wait to comment and hear what others have to say about this on the suit report!” lol! :)
each of this week’s combos were quite lovely; and the smile in that first cap is definitely a day-brightener! sigh. :)

I usually like it when Stephen wears a bold red or blue tie, but I really liked Wednesday’s tie. While I usually like the dark pinstripes, but I agree with Holly that a light grey is a nice change of pace now and then.
Could NFZ ever land an interview with the person that chooses Stephen’s suits? I’m sure Stephen has some say, but he probably has a few other things going on from day to day;)
