Thanks to our buddy Venus over at the ConanChristopherO’Brien fan site who tipped us off to an upcoming appearance by Stephen Colbert. According to TVGuide.com Stephen will be on the ‘Today Show’ on NBC, on Thursday, March 19th, at 7a EST. I imagine he’s going to be there to plug his new movie, ‘Monsters Vs. Aliens‘, in theaters March 27th.
Also on the Today Show schedule for that day: “Today’s Health” and DIY spring style. The health segment makes me think of “Cheating Death” and how it mocks these types of segments. Wonder if Stephen will bring along some Vaxadrin?

that would be a little adventure, getting up early (for college) and venturing out to the TV lounge before most people have even awoken.

I checked my TiVo listing for that day, and it says that Stephen is indeed promoting “Monsters vs. Aliens.”
But I wouldn’t put it past him to sneak in a hint about running for office… (Senator? President? Pope?)
