Reminder: Jon Stewart on ‘Letterman’ tonight

Hey, all! Just wanted to remind everyone that tonight’s Late Show with David Letterman will feature that “other” favorite host of ours, Mr. Jon Stewart.

I don’t know about you all, but I thought The Daily Show was just unbelievable last night. I loved The Colbert Report truly, madly and deeply, but I have to say that my jaw hit the floor when I saw Jon’s segment on Rick Santelli and CNBC, and it hadn’t recovered yet by the time Stephen pulled us into his “Doom Bunker”. So, in honor of the double helping of Jon Stewart we’re getting tonight, here’s that awesome opening segment again:

And, because we all love Stephen Colbert here at No Fact Zone, I thought I’d remind you of what happened when another guest “bailed out” on his Daily Show appearance:

Happy viewing, everyone!

Jon and Stephen, my favorite Dynamic Duo! Just saw the full episode of last night’s Daily Show, a wonderful show from beginning to end.

Haha! I remember watching the “Stephen as Al Sharpton” interview a while back. Watching it again reminds me how contagious their laughter is.

Btw, that was a brutal takedown of CNBC last night on TDS

I never can get enough of that “Al Sharpton” clip. Stephen is so incredibly handsome and relaxed….and that smile! Love it!

I agree, that whole TDS segment was just stunning! I made my brother, my husband, and even my father in law (who is even more anti-tv than me) watch it. They’re all into finance in one way or another, and were properly impressed and entertained. Can I just say how much I heart our TDS and TCR writers? And Jon & Stephen, too, but I say that all the time.

And yeah, the “Al Sharpton” is a personal fave for the reasons ColbertGirl27 gives. Nice way to end the evening.

concur with all, March 4th TDS was top notch. And watching this clip with Jon and Stephen reminded me of one great point, they are both getting increasingly handsome as the years go by. Im only 28, but I think they are both are more attractive than ever.
    fangirl out.

Man. Between the CNBC new-orifice-ripping and the CPAC Afterparty bit, I have wanted to sort of attach myself to Jon’s leg like a pug dog all week.

At least John McCain owned up to the fact that it was a mistake that he canceled on Letterman, but that’s not the case with Rick Santelli who finds someone else to blame like he does for the economic meltdown.

“Over at Dealbreaker, Bess Levin’s got an on-the-record response from CNBC on the way Jon Stewart’s been doing them like garbage bags — that is, taking them out on a daily basis — and she’s filed it under “worst comeback of all time.” Basically, CNBC says that Santelli opted out of going on the “Daily Show” because he felt Stewart was “bizarrely obsessed” with him. You know, in the way that he kept trying to “book” him by “calling” him “repeatedly.” Yeah, okay. There’s also some stuff about how Santelli’s “Grecian good looks” came into play here.”
