Fantasy Colbert League Weekly: February 23-26

By Kinaesthesia on February 23rd, 2009 ·

Welcome to No Fact Zone’s weekly roundup of ‘Colbert Report’ guests, created in the spirit of the oft-enjoyed Fantasy Colbert League. While we can’t start up the online version of the game again, we can make it so that you can get the information you need about the guests before they come on the show.

Just like you, we want to be it-getters before the interviews start. So we’ve compiled brief bios, issues or events that Stephen might bring up during the interview, and a fun Fract (Freedom Fact) to impress your fellow viewers during the commercial breaks. Read, enjoy, and see if you can anticipate how Stephen might nail each of the following guests!

Note: As always, guests are subject to change.

This interview should be an interesting one!

  • Fract: Dr. Fisher uses data on 28,000 people collected from the dating site Chemistry.com for her studies on biology-based personality types. Could you be one of them?

He won the three-way mayoral face in 2005 by one vote – and since then, has focused on improving the quality of life for young people in and around the Pennsylvania city. He hopes to attract artists and ‘urban pioneers’ and revitalize Braddock.

  • Fract: Mayor Fetterman’s arms bear a number of numerical tattoos that memorialize the dates of murders committed in Braddock while he has been mayor. He lives in a converted warehouse across the street from the original Carnegie Library.

Thursday, 2/26: Kris Kristofferson

He also had time to star in movies from ‘A Star is Born,’ for which he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor, to ‘Blade‘ and all its sequels. His latest album is ‘This Old Road,’ is not complicated but “makes the listeners feel as if they are sitting in Kristofferson’s living room while he picks and sings just for them.”
