TiVo alert: Jon Stewart on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ March 5th

Howdy, all! I’m popping out of my near-blogging hibernation (blame my real life interfering; I still love this fandom as much as ever) to give y’all a heads up on an upcoming Letterman appearance that I think you’ll want to see: Jon Stewart will be on Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday, March 5th (hat tip to the always cool loudfan and her Late Night TV Page).

In honor of that, I thought I’d link to a few classic Jon appearances and/or segments:

And finally, because it just wouldn’t be a break week if nobody posted the infamous “banana segment”, I leave you with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert making “Much Ado About Something” in Prince Charles’ past:

Happy TV watching, everyone!

The episode with the “urn” bit was one of the first (if not the very first) Daily Shows I ever saw. After “I think the correspondent from Baghdad just gave me the finger”, I was a fan for life.

Oh, Ms. I! Thanks for putting up these clips. I have to go into work today for a bit, and it’s just the thing to keep me smiling. The Banana clip *never* gets old. And “urb”, no “urn”. Haha

This is like the 50th time I’ve watched the Banana sketch and it’s just as funny as the first time.

    Dennis Miller was funny?

Oh and the Banana sketch = pure WIN. Best character break EVER. Makes me laugh even after watching it 100,000 times

I will never get tired of the banana sketch. Or really any sketches of Stephen and Jon together. Together, they are made of pure win.

Oh man, that banana clip sure is hilarious!

Also, I’ve never seen that clip before of Jon talking about hypochondria. That was funny, too.
