Did you catch Stephen Colbert’s cameo on ‘House’? Well, his very small cameo. 4″x6″ small, as a matter of fact. If you were watching ‘House’ on Monday evening and were paying attention to the set details on the show (Season 5, Episode 15 – “Unfaithful”), you may have noticed a very familiar face behind Dr. House this evening.
If you look closely, you’ll see a very familiar publicity photo sitting on the shelf behind House. The set designers of ‘House’ are definitely it-getters. I wonder if this means that the ‘House’ set designers are giving their own tribute for Stephen Colbert for his placement of Dr. House’s photo on the ‘Colbert Report’ studio set? If you want to see the whole ‘House’ episode, it should be available on Hulu very soon.

That’s cosmic – I was just thinking how awesome it would be if Stephen was a guest on “House” (one of the patients would be great!). I haven’t watched “House” in a long time, and I’d watch it if Stephen were on. (Nothing against House or Hugh Laurie – I’m just irked about the direction the show has gone). For a second I thought Stephen actually WAS on “House”!

Haha, that’s awesome! Thanks for posting those videos. Man, each time I watch a Colbert video I just think, “how can anyone not love this guy?” Colbert is just so ridiculously funny and adorable. His fake crying gets me every time: “You stay strong my sexy, sexy brother.” Jeez, one day without new episodes and I’m already missing him!

I’m not sure my brain could handle a House episode featuring Stephen (too much goodness…). I would love to see Hugh Laurie as a guest on TCR. A duet of some kind would be a must (Hugh Laurie on piano, Stephen singing along).

I can only imagine the comedic gold that can be mined from Hugh Laurie appearing on the Report. Stephen will be surprised that he’s British and then they can fight and then have make-up singing (Minnie the Moocher!)with Hugh on the piano. Squee!

I love Stephen Colbert, but I never knew he talked so much about Dr. House. When I saw that Colbert photo behind Dr. House, I almost flipped out. I loved it. I can’t wait to see Colbert do an episode on “House”. Of course, that episode would be hilarious!
