Tons of ‘Colbert Report’ tickets available for February

By DB on January 22nd, 2009 ·

If you were thinking about going to ‘The Colbert Report’ in February, right now would be a VERY excellent time to go check tickets – as of 10:40a EST there are tickets available for February 2,3,4,5, 9,10,11,12, and 23,24,25,26 available.

Also, if you want to keep up with the latest ticket releases, check out ColbertTix, which is No Fact Zone’s unofficial Twitter feed for all the latest ticket releases. There are three off us (Tiger, myself, and Lee Quick) who are working on updating this feed as often as we see tickets released.

Oh, you darned six month rule! Another taping would be such a great birthday present to myself … [muttering in frustration]

But you have to admit, that last taping rocked pretty darn hard.

wow…the feeling of “omg squee!” I get when I see big bunches of tickets up is kind of…interesting? I’m days from falling outside the 6 mo rule but I already have TDS tickets and nascent plans for May, so I don’t really care about February. it’s just exciting! :D

Ugh. Could’ve had my birthday too – 6 month rule. I would rather get drunk off Stephen than alcohol for my 21st.

The first week of March just openned up, too! Ugh! I have to wait until May, too!

*pines* Alas, I have been told by my hubby and other friends, who I’d no doubt tote along with me, that I will be going alone if I get tickets in the winter as the last time we went, we nearly froze to death in line waiting to get into The Daily Show (they have no sense of adventure). So, I’m desperately waiting for something to become available in April, even May perhaps. But, I’ve added the RSS feed for ColbertTix Twitter to my browser. Here’s hoping!

That was fast! I assume if one gets in on the standby line the 6 month rule does not apply, yes?

my understanding of it is that if you get into the taping then that counts just the same as being a ticketholder. I have never been in the standby line, but I think I recall them taking the names/IDs of those people.

The “Terms and Conditions” from the ticket page of Colbert Nation say this:

Individuals may only attend once every six months unless asked back to a specific show by a member of our production staff.

Based on that, I’d say it applies to standby just as well as the regular ticketing process.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I know of sev. persons who attended multiple times via standby, perhaps they used different names then.

Oh, it happens, there’s certainly no doubt about that. It’s just not supposed to. (shrugs)
