Friend of the blog and funny man Matt Lappin is having a revival of his amazingly non-family friendly named “F@#k Monkeys” show next Friday, January 30th. Here’s a bit more about the history behind the shows of Matt and his merry men:
THE F@#K MONKEYS UNITE! is an ongoing project formed by Matt Lappin, Segment Producer of the Colbert Report, and former writer for Strangers with Candy. With each show comes another eclectic mix of Stand up Comedy, Sketch Comedy, Jazz, Rock and Roll, Puppetry, and mayhem that has not been attempted since music was played with animal bones and comedy was watching a chubby criminal be hanged in the town square. Performers are all harvested from Lappin’s varied past in the entertainment industry, and are all not to be missed.
They will be performing at the Artland Bar, 609 Grand Street in Brooklyn.
Tell them No Fact Zone sent you and while you won’t get anything, they’ll at least know that we pay attention to them out here.
