WristSTRONG cake
BySometimes my feed readers pop up something that’s a little old, like this, but it’s so cool I just had to post it.
From the Sugarmama NYC blog (7/14/2008):
I was lucky enough to be called to make a cake to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Stephen Colbert breaking his wrist, bringing awareness to Hollywood’s exploitation on wrist violence. I didn’t get to meet Stephen, but I did get to sit in his chair!
Check out SugarMama’s blog to see a pic of Stephen with the cake!

What a great find DB! That picture of Stephen cutting the “wrist” of the cake is priceless! Did anyone else notice that she remembered to include Stephen’s wedding ring on the cake? They won’t let us forget for a moment! Haha.
If you look on the blog, you’ll notice that they also made a piano cake for John Legend’s birthday later this year. Maybe Stephen suggested the place to John’s people:) Let’s not forget that John was nice enough to sing Happy Birthday to Evie last year!

That is both awesome, and a little creepy at the same time Maybe next year they will do his other arm with a wriststrong bracelet on it!

Aww, haha that’s really cute and funny. And I like how the cake has Allison, Rich, and Meredith’s signatures on it.
