*snerk*

This encounter just gets funnier and funnier. From the Deseret News (which needs to learn to spell Stephen’s name):

Chaffetz admits he lost — twice — to Colbert

Psst. Guess what? Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, did something even more pathetic than lose a leg wrestling match with TV comedian Steven Colbert. He lost to him twice.

“The sad truth is we did it twice, and I lost both times,” Chaffetz admitted after the fact on Thursday about the taping for his appearance this week on “The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central …

“Television comedians are not exactly known for their physical prowess. But he is freakishly, freakishly strong. You’d be amazed,” Chaffetz said. “I’ve got to start working out a little bit more. That’s a priority.”

Yeah, I would have liked to see the facial… =)

And I’m impressed with Colbert’s lower-body strength, given that Chaffetz was a place-kicker.

Didn’t another Congressman claim that he received a facial from Stephen? Was it the guy who said “I am a Georgia peach”?

I guess Stephen really does use that eliptical machine in his office–more than when he is crashing from a lack of Starbucks coffee!

This is too funny. Given Stephen’s quite lovely quadricep definition and superior dancing skills and balance, I’m not surprised he outmaneuvered the young whippersnapper Congressman. BOOYA! :)

Bwah! So, so funny. I’m not surprised, though. Our Stephen can do anything. “Freakishly strong” – maybe they should put that in the opening credits. :-)

Yay! The return of the tap shoes:) They should definitely include “freakishly strong” in the opening credits. Or maybe “freakinshly thigh strong”…and “wriststrong.” Nevermind. Stephen is just overall freakishly strong.

Someone noticed! I got tired of looking at my face and put the shoes back.

The more I think about it, the more I want Freakishly Strong in the credits.

Props to Stephen and his core strength. I bet he could hold a good plank.

Stephen has always emerged to be quite athletic in unsuspecting ways. May he continue to surprise us.
